JACOB MAAYAN


Jacob Maayan V.P. Quality and Chief Technologist

Jacob Maayan was born in 1948 in Germany. He has served as V.P. R&D and  Quality since 1985 and was responsible for the development of company designed products (small expendable engines).

During this period Jacob Maayan was responsible for all the updates of the ISO 9000, AS9100 certifications and the qualification of BSEL by many customers, including GE, PWA, MTU and others. BSEL also won the Israel National Award for Quality in 1995.

Jacob Maayan was responsible for the introduction of advanced quality management systems in the company and for the high quality rating BSEL got from its customers.

Jacob Maayan has a BSc. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and served in the IAF (Israeli Air Force) for 7 years as a  field engineer and commander of an engineering office.
